Latasha Petty is a middle school math teacher/math coach at Perkins Bass Elementary.  She has taught in CPS for going on 8 years.  For her first 4 years She was a math teacher at an AUSL school, Bethune School of Excellence until it transitioned in 2013.  Currently, Latasha is in the process of receiving a STEM certificate, as well as, an SEL certificate in CPS.
​Latasha has a passion for teaching, and a passion for math.  Latasha believes in educating the ‘whole’ child, and that ALL children has the potential to do great things.
